A superb 19th century Victorian figured/flame mahogany cheval dressing mirror, boasting exceptional colour, attractive proportions and a wonderfully decorative design.
The mirror features a large adjustable arched top, flanked by beautifully hand-turned figured mahogany columns, each topped with elegant carved finials. The frame is supported by a striking central turned stretcher and stands on beautifully carved mahogany legs, giving the piece a wonderfully elegant and substantial appearance.
The richly figured mahogany displays a fabulous warm colour and natural flame figuring, making this a particularly attractive example. The mirror retains its original mirror plate, adding further charm and authenticity.
