A truly exceptional early 20th-century Edwardian musical three-train mahogany longcase clock
A magnificent and highly decorative clock, beautifully presented in a superb flame mahogany case with elaborate inlaid decoration and pierced detailing.
The clock features a selection dial allowing you to choose between Whittingham and Westminster chimes, together with a separate chiming or silent selection. It strikes on eight bells and retains its original brass pendulum. The finely detailed dial incorporates a subsidiary seconds dial and an exceptionally attractive finely fretted gilt-metal dial frieze, adding considerably to its visual appeal.
The clock has been serviced and is currently working, making this not only an impressive decorative piece but also a wonderful functioning musical longcase clock.
