A truly graceful and elegant antique English writing desk or hall table, circa 1840, crafted from solid flame mahogany of exceptional quality. Originally designed as a console table, it fits neatly along a hallway, behind a sofa, or beneath a window, making it both practical and highly decorative.
The top features a beautiful thumb-moulded edge, above three drawer fronts, with the central drawer showcasing tight, hand-cut dovetail joints and original central mahogany pull handles. It stands proudly on four stunning hand-carved fluted legs, all terminating on original brass castors.
This piece boasts a deep, rich colour and elegant proportions, making it a real eye-catcher that will enhance both traditional and contemporary interiors alike.
