A superb Circa 1860 Mid-Victorian Ladies Chair, crafted from fine solid mahogany and showcasing exceptional 19th-century craftsmanship. This elegant chair features a classic spoon back with button-upholstered panels, set within a moulded back frame that gracefully finishes with a scroll detail at seat level. The back is richly enhanced with foliate carving to the crest, while the chair is raised on beautifully foliate-carved cabriole legs, terminating in original porcelain and brass castors—a true mark of quality and period authenticity. Presented in excellent condition, this antique chair boasts a lovely rich colour to the mahogany and well-preserved upholstery, clearly having been lovingly cared for over the years. Both decorative and functional, it would make a perfect addition to a bedroom, dressing room, or refined sitting area.
