This stunning image beautifully encapsulated was rescued from a church suppliers in Liverpool signed lower right and dated 1967 with depicted Stigmata with Corpus Christi with a bottle of wine to right a fabulous painting that looks like it has never seen daylight with great colour the dimensions are 67cms by 83cms so a great size St. Catherine of Siena was born March 25 1347 in Siena Tuscany she died April 29 1380 in Rome the youngest of twenty five children born to a lower middle-class family most of her siblings did not survive childhood at a young age she is said to have consecrated her virginity to Christ and experienced mystical visions the dimensions are 41cms by 58cms so a great size, I am happy to deliver locally for a small fee or arrange a courier nationally
